Throw out your mental image of an X-ray department. While we still perform X-ray, the imaging field has grown tremendously, from the expansive capability of imaging in multiple formats, to performing imaging-guided medical interventions such as cardiac catheterizations and liver biopsies. We are currently performing up to 2,000 examinations and treatments per month, with about 80% of these examinations performed on outpatients.
