Patient rooms
Most rooms at La Paz Regional are private, with 19 private rooms and 3 semi-private rooms. Each bed has a "call bell," a two-way intercom connected to the nursing station through which you can speak to the nurse. Rooms are assigned based on the level of care you require and may change as your care requirements change.
Each room has a telephone for local calls. Calls outside the local calling area must be charged to a phone card, your home phone or the person you are calling. Cable television is installed with a controller at the bedside. We have recliners for you and your guests. If your loved one needs to spend the night with you, we can bring in a bed, or set up the recliner for their comfort.
