Job is in Parker, AZ. We are considered a Medically Underserved Area and established with the National Health Service Corps and Nurse Corps for Loan Repayment.

Full Time Position with full benefit package.
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Med/Surgical and ICU Units. Communicates with physicians regarding patient's clinical condition, results of diagnotics testing for optimum care of patients.
I. Minimum Qualifications:
A. License & Certifications
i. Current unencumbered Arizona Registered Nursing License
ii. Current BLS certification
iii. Successful completion of arrhythmia course within 6 months from date of hire
iv. ACLS Certification within 6 months from date of hire
B. Experience:
i. None required
C. Knowledge and Skills
i. Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and written
ii. Able to work and multitask in fast paced environment
iii. Able to manage, prioritize, and delegate patient care appropriately and effectively
iv. Demonstrates knowledge of common disease processes, treatment modalities, and interventions
v. Verbalizes knowledge of safe and accurate medication administration principles
1. 6-Rights
a. Right patient, medication, dose, route, time, reason
2. Two patient identifies
3. Patient allergies
4. Patient Education
5. Bar-Code Scanning
vi. Demonstrates ability interpret cardiac rhythms and their implications
vii. Above average computer skills
1. Demonstrates ability to navigate the electronic healthcare record
2. Familiar with Microsoft word and excel
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Must have current Arizona State RN licensure. Must have current BCLS and ACLS Certifications.
NOTE: RN II's must be able to take charge and work alone with minual supervision.
NOTE: nursing positions work 12 hour shifts with 6% or 12% shift differential as applicable.
