Job is in Parker, AZ. We are considered a Medically Underserved Area and established with the National Health Service Corps and Nurse Corp for Loan Repayment.
Job Summary: Responsible for direction of patient care in the critical care setting. Consults with staff, physicians and Director on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Assists in performance improvement activities within the department. Assesses department needs and conveys to Director. May float to the Med/Surg. Unit if needed. Salary depends on experience.
Regulatory Requirements:
Current state Registered Nurse Licensure.
3 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of critical care nursing preferred.
Successful completion of critical care course.
Current ACLS and BCLS and certification.
Language Skills:
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Skills:
Basic computer knowledge.
