Patient Care Tech - Medical/Surgical Unit
Job is in Parker, AZ at La Paz Regional Hospital
MUST HAVE A CURRENT EXPERIENCE AS A NURSING ASSISTANT TO BE CONSIDERED, BUT NOT HAVE A LICENSE FOR ARIZONA.
Job Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN. Position works 12 hour shifts.
Regulatory Requirements:
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current experience as a nursing assistant in hospital or nursing home.
• Current BCLS certificate.
Language Skills:
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages a plus.
